BTS has achieved sweeping success across significant weekly music charts both domestically and on a global scale with their fifth studio album, 'Arirang'.
Data from the album sales monitoring platform, Hanteo Chart, dated the 30th, reveals that BTS's 'Arirang' clinched the top position on the weekly world and album charts for the period of March 23-29. The album swiftly ascended to the pinnacle of the charts within just three days of its release on March 20 and maintained its leading position for two consecutive weeks.

As reported in a preview by U.S. music media outlet Billboard on the 30th, 'Arirang' has claimed the top spot on the prominent album chart 'Billboard 200' for the week dated April 4. The album entered the rankings with 641,000 album units, representing the strongest weekly showing for a group album since the advent of unit tracking in December 2014. Of these, pure album sales—encompassing both physical and digital purchases—accounted for 532,000 units. This represents a landmark achievement for group album sales in over ten years.
On the global front, BTS made a clean sweep of the weekly rankings across the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify, covering the period from March 20-26. This included leading positions on 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' global charts. The album's title track, 'SWIM', notably secured the number one slot on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global', while all 14 tracks from the album were positioned within the top 30.
The track 'SWIM' sustained its leading status on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' for a duration of nine and seven days, respectively, spanning from March 20-28 and March 23-29. Furthermore, all album tracks maintained presence on the latest chart listings of both platforms. This persistent performance, even ten days post-release, underscores the album's widespread reception and the fervent support of global music enthusiasts.
In addition, BTS is set to embark on the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG',' with performances scheduled at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on April 9, 11, and 12. The tour will extend to stadium concerts across South America in October, including Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 scheduled performances, including those planned for Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, have sold out in advance, underscoring the group's tremendous ticket-selling capacity.
